Troubles with Bubbles is Wanda's great challenge for the Teapotters' Tickle this week - and what better way to see out the old year than relaxing in a tub with sweet scented bubbles. It was, in a way, hard to pick what stamp to use because I have some cute ducks and bubbles, but in the end Babs won the toss. As I was making this, I was thinking back to a job I had in London; very nice location; the apartment was right opposite the American embassy in the heart of the city. But, as I was "staff", my bathroom had no windows. It was so claustrophic - even if it's pitch black outside, a bathroom has to have a window!! And one with a view - even better. I meant to to the glittered window technique to provide a frosted window, but couldn't find any clear glitter to use; since I had packing tape out for that, I used it to " glaze" the window instead of frosting it. The window frame is inlaid into the "wallpaper", and then I added the fussy-cut tub and smellies. To finish I added a Bazzill Bling frame, and this will get pressed under a book for a couple of days till it's time to send it out!

This is adorable! Sabrina, you always have so many different kinds of surfaces going on - I love the packing tape idea for the window! This card looks so glittery and dimensional here, I can only image how it looks in person!

So wonderful! I just love the look of these clawfoot tubs. Something about them just spells relaxation. I love the bubbles. The view is great.....so relaxing. I do have a window, but it is frosted and even if it were open, I would not be able to see outside as the tub is lower.

All the wonderful details that went into this card's making - the lovely scene outside, the beautiful 'wallpaper and floor', the smellies, and of course, all the colorful, shiny BUBBLES - everything lends itself to the celebration of life - just a fantastic "feel good" card, Sabrina!! Think I want to jump into this tub and soak!!

Such an elegant lady in a very fancy tub. Even the bubbles are fancy. You truly put a lot of work into this. Just reading how you did the window made me tired. hehe Love your wonderful card. TFS :0)
